Mandi Franklin, Nurse practitioner

I'm Mandi, a T1D and a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. I understand the challenges of raising a child with chronic health needs. My goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and holistic care for your child as they learn to flourish with diabetes.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Towson University in Towson, Maryland, before getting a Master of Science degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland.

My journey with diabetes has been a catalyst for self-discovery and a path to better health. I've learned to listen to my body, develop healthy habits, and achieve a level of well-being that surpasses that of many non-diabetic individuals.
